The ketteler-kolleg of mainz is a reinforced concrete building built in the 1960s and is now a school building. Its roof structure has been damaged and needs to be modernized to repair it. The architect USES a combination of steel structure and pneumatic components to cover the damaged roof. The inflatable air cushion structure of ETFE roof in the whole project not only makes the building beautiful and generous, but also greatly improves the ornamental and artistic quality of the whole building.
